Stone laid for Heera global city

Special Correspondent

Thiruvananthapuram: The foundation stone for Heera global city was laid at Kakkanand on Saturday. The integrated project, one of the largest of its kind in the area, will see Heera offering the entire range of housing solutions — from villas to large scale projects to a customer base of more than 15,000 families, a press release said.

The ceremony was attended by Heera Group managing director A.R. Baby and general manager (projects) A.R. Nair.

Global City, a world within itself, is located opposite the upcoming Smart City project. Located on a sprawling six-acre plot, the 36-storey structure will have 464 apartments in the first phase with a dedicated 5-floor car parking area.

It is slated to be one of the tallest apartments in Kochi. The apartment is being built in compliance with Vaasthusashtra principles, a press release said.
