MRPL Trophy for Bedra

MANGALORE: Bedra Cricketers (Moodbidri) won the MRPL Trophy by virtue of winning the KSCA Mangalore zone third division.

They beat Ullal Cricket Academy (Ullal) by two wickets in the divisional finals played at NIT-K ‘A’ ground on Monday.

The scores: Ullal Cricket Academy 153 in 35.3 overs (Irfan 25, Parvez three for 39, Shabbar three for 25) lost to Bedra Cricketers 154 for eight in 34 overs (Prasanna 52, Yashu three for 19, Irfan three for 40). — Staff Correspondent
