Residents’ plea

The residents of Nandagiri Nagar in Akkayyapalem in the city have urged the authorities concerned to take immediate action to remove two shops selling cement, sand and other building material as they pose health and pollution problems in their area, particularly to children and students.

In a joint petition signed by over 40 residents they alleged respiratory problems to the young children have increased due to this menace.
