Woman murdered
A 38-year-old woman A. Anjamma was found murdered in a farmland near her residence at Mamidipally village in Ranga Reddy district on Monday. According to the police Anjamma was reportedly killed by her husband Bheemaiah on Sunday night while the couple was returning home after visiting their relative’s house in Mahbubnagar district.
The police have launched a manhunt to nab Bheemaiah.
Killed in accident
An elderly man, who suffered grievous injuries after he was run over by an unidentified vehicle at Tolichowki on Wednesday, succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatement at the Osmania General Hospital on Sunday.
G. Prakash (60), a resident of Tallagadda, was crossing the road when the accident occurred, according to the police.
