He told presspersons here on Monday that plus two pass percentage was 74.61 during the year 2005-2006. It was increased to 81.17 per cent during 2006-2007. Tenth pass percentage was 76.92 during 2005-2006. It rose to 81.04 per cent during 2006-2007. The achievement was more than the State average.

Training given to teachers by education experts, group discussions, education reforms conferences, training given to backward class students made the achievement possible.

Now, we have decided to surpass this achievement by scoring 90 per cent pass this year. Good teachers were given merit certificates and model examinations conducted for students to achieve this target.
