Special medical camp held for railway police personnel

HEALTHCARE: A woman constable of the Government Railway Police being screened at a special medical camp in Tiruchi on Sunday.
TIRUCHI: A special medical camp for Government Railway Police (GRP) personnel and their families was organised at the Seahorse Hospital here on Sunday.
Organised by the KMC Hospital, Seahorse Hospital and Lions Club of Tiruchi Majestic Millenium, the camp was inaugurated by Superintendent of Police, GRP, Tiruchi, A.T. Duraikumar.
Medical experts from various disciplines screened the personnel and their family members for eye, dental and diabetic–related diseases besides conducting a general health check-up. The doctors also gave advice to the patients on prevention.
Over 100 police personnel and 50 family members attended the camp. Managing director of KMC Hospital Dr. Chandrakumar and executive director Dr. Manivannan were present on the occasion.
