Bank manager held for graft

Patna: The branch manager of a rural bank was on Tuesday arrested by Bihar Vigilance Bureau while accepting a bribe of Rs.2,000 at Jandaha in Bihar’s Vaishali district, vigilance sources said.

Acting on a complaint from a person that the Jandaha branch manager of North Bihar Kshetriya Rural Bank had sought bribe from him for releasing second instalment under the Kisan Credit Card, vigilance sleuths raided the branch and caught the man red handed.
