Bank looted in Bihar

Arwal: Armed desperadoes looted over Rs.3.8 lakh from Imamganj branch of Punjab National Bank on the border of Patna-Arwal districts, near Arwal, on Tuesday afternoon, police said.

Six motorcycle-borne assailants raided the branch of the bank and overpowered its guard and other employees at gun-point and took away the money from the cash counter, the police said.

They also snatched two mobile phones from the employees, they said.
