Student run over

VILLUPURAM: A Standard VII student, R. Rajadurai (13), was fatally run over by a town bus at Thiruppalapandal in Thirukkoilur block near here on Tuesday.

According to the police, Rajadurai boarded the bus on the Poomari—Kaduvanur route to go to school. He slipped from the footboard and fell off when the driver moved the vehicle. He came under the rear wheel of the bus and was killed on the spot.
