Decision on e-filing of tax returns flayed

NEW DELHI: The All-India Tax Advocates Forum has deplored the Delhi Government’s decision making it mandatory for dealers to file quarterly Income Tax returns electronically when a majority of nearly 1.5 lakh dealers have not even got their passwords.

Forum president M. K. Gandhi demanded that the Government introduce the e-filing system from the next quarter only after issuing the passwords to all the dealers.
