Focus on North-East

NEW DELHI: The newly constituted North-East India Studies Programme at JNU here will organise a conference on “Towards a New Understanding of North-East India” from this Wednesday. Former JNU Vice-Chancellor P. N. Srivastava will be the chief guest at the inaugural session. The seminar is being sponsored by Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts, Indian Council for Social Science Research and Centre for Advance Studies.
