Amara Raja Q3 profit moves up

CHENNAI: Amara Raja Batteries has recorded a sharp rise in revenues at Rs. 313.78 crore in the third quarter ended December 31, 2007, against Rs. 148.04 crore while the net profit has risen shot up to Rs. 29.66 crore from Rs. 9.68 crore in the year ago-period, according to a release.
