Siddaramaiah lashes out at BJP
Correspondent
CHIKMAGALUR: Former Deputy Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has lashed out at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its leader B.S. Yeddyurappa for allegedly indulging in political gimmicks to mislead the voters.
Speaking to presspersons here on Monday, Mr. Siddaramaiah criticised Mr. Yeddyurappa for making “baseless allegations” against the Congress. He said the BJP leader did not have the basic knowledge that it was the Election Commission and not the Congress that decided on the election date. He said the BJP did not have suitable candidates for at least 100 Assembly Constituencies and was trying to woo leaders from other parties.
