S.M. Krishna returning to politics

NEW DELHI: Maharashtra Governor S.M. Krishna is returning to active politics in his home State of Karnataka.

He is expected to resign soon to take charge as the chairman of the Congress Election Committee in the State, according to well-informed sources.

Karnataka is under President’s rule but the Assembly elections are to be held before the end of May.
