Indian team arrives

Chennai: Even as excitement picks up for the five-Test hockey series between Belgium and India starting on January 25, the Mayor Radhakrishnan Stadium has become a venue of hectic activity.

The Belgium team which is here from Sunday had two training sessions on Tuesday. The players sweated it out till around noon at the Radhakrishnan Stadium and turned up again for the evening work out.

Meanwhile, the Indian team flew in from Bangalore and is expected to have light training in the morning on Wednesday and a practice game against Tamil Nadu XI. — Hockey Correspondent
