Rally for the purpose will be conducted in Visakhapatnam on February 2 and 3 Kakinada: The Youth Welfare Department has invited applications for recruitment to soldier (technical and nursing assistant) posts in the Indian Army. For this purpose, an Army recruitment rally is scheduled to be held at Indira Priyadarsini Municipal Stadium in Visakhapatnam on February 2 and 3. The candidates should have been born between February 3, 1985 and August 3, 1990. Those applying for soldier (technical) posts should have passed 10+2 with mathematics, physics, chemistry and English as the main subjects. ScrutinyFor soldier nursing assistant posts, 10+2 pass in biology, physics, chemistry and English with 50 per cent aggregate marks and 40 per cent in each one of the subjects is required. Scrutiny of the certificates will be done on February 2 and physical fitness test will be conducted on February 3. Candidates should submit integrated certificates of nativity, community and date of birth issued by the tehsildar concerned, eight passport size colour photos each, NCC/sports certificate, character certificates in English issued by the village sarpanches and details of the families in English attested by the village sarpanch. The interested candidates have to report at the recruitment rally venue mentioned above by 8 a.m.
