Jewellery merchant shot dead

Lucknow: A jewellery merchant was shot dead by unidentified miscreants, said police sources here on Wednesday.

Rakesh Kumar was on his way home late on Tuesday night when he was shot at by three motorcycle borne miscreants, who snatched his briefcase and fled.

The trader died on his way to the hospital.

A search has been launched to nab the culprits.
