TB awareness campaign

NEW DELHI: A tuberculosis awareness campaign was organised by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi at Syama Prasad Mukherjee Chest Hospital here on Wednesday.

MCD Public Health Committee chairman V. K. Monga distributed blankets to poor TB patients. “The MCD has a large network for treating TB patients. It has 500 DOTS centres, 11 chest clinics and the Rajan Babu TB Hospital. There is a need to create awareness among the masses to remove doubts regarding the disease,” he said.
