GV Films’ MoU with global firms

CHENNAI: GV Films plans to produce full length film featuring animals. V. Ravee, Chief Executive Officer, told presspersons here on Tuesday that Tapati, featuring two mongooses and cobra, would be co-produced by GV Films, Films du Reve and TF 1 International. A memorandum of understanding was signed between the three parties, Mr. Ravee said. The total investment will be 20 million euro (about Rs. 110 crore).

The film will be shot in India and Sri Lanka.

Targetted at children, the world over Tapati aims to bring out the importance of conservation, nature and wildlife in a telling tale.
