Camp for polio victims

MADURAI: A camp for polio victims will be held at Agarwal Bhavan on Friday.

Addressing the press here on Tuesday, camp convenor C.R. Patel said that Madurai North Indians’ Welfare Association, in coordination with Narayana Seva Sansthan (Trust), Udaipur, would organise the camp between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. A team of doctors, engineers and experts from Udaipur would examine the polio victims. If necessary, they would be taken to Udaipur Hospital for free corrective surgery. The organisers planned to distribute 80 wheel chairs and 60 callipers.
