Student commits suicide at hostel

A student pursuing B.Ed at a private degree, P. Pratap, allegedly committed suicide at Ashoka Hostel of Acharya Nagarjuna University in Guntur on Wednesday. Pratap, a native of Keesara village in Krishna district, was studying M.A (Political Science) till recently in the University. He took transfer certificate recently and had come to the hostel to take away his belongings. Police found a bottle of pesticide beside his body. Inmates of the hostel told police that they had last seen Pratap in the morning.
