Collector told to follow roaster system for STs

VIZIANAGARAM: Chairman of Legislative Committee on Scheduled Tribes Kumba Ravi Babu has instructed Collector and other heads of various government departments to follow strictly the roaster system in recruitment of STs in vacancies.

At the review meeting at Zilla Parishad Conference Hall here on Wednesday night, he, while hearing the procedure being followed from officials of Revenue, Education, Medical and Health, 5th APSP Battalion District Treasury and Irrigation departments, expressed displeasure over violations in reservations.
