KOCHI: A group of Youth Congress workers on Thursday symbolically seized the land at Kalamassery where the Cyber City project was proposed. They fixed a board at the site stating that the land belonged to the State. The activists also ransacked the project office premises and damaged a few tables, chairs and some equipment. The Kalamassery police registered a case against nine Youth Congress activists in connection with the incident. The activists were led by Jaleel Puthenveedu, a councillor of the Kalamassery municipality, and M.A.M. Muneer and Shamsudeen Thalakottil.
