Jail inmate dies

MYSORE: A 30-year-old undertrial lodged at K.R. Nagar Sub Jail near here died enroute to the K.R. Hospital in Mysore on Wednesday evening.

The deceased, Nanda, who hails from Waynad district in Kerala, had been arrested by the Forest Department on January 5, on charges of felling trees in forest areas near Gundlupet.

Nanda had been experiencing chest pain for the last few days and was undergoing treatment
