Officials told to make detailed report

KURNOOL: Zilla Parishad Chairman L. Venkata Swamy called upon officials to prepare a comprehensive report for the development of backward villages in the district.

An awareness programme was conducted for the members of the District Planning committee under the chairmanship of ZP Chief Executive Officer Rajeswara Rao here on Wednesday. Mr. Venkata Swamy said education, health, drinking water and sanitation be given importance in preparing the development plan.

He called upon committee members to examine the issues of irrigation, agriculture productivity, marketing, human resource development and social justice and offer their suggestions.
