The ‘kotwal’ means business

Gentle in nature but strong in willpower, smooth in talk but tough in action. That is Hyderabad’s new Kotwal B. Prasada Rao. The cordial way Mr. Rao interacted with the Inspectors after assuming charge indicated he is gentle. But by making whirlwind inspections of police stations the next day, he made it clear that his soft nature doesn’t mean acting slow. The fact that he raised crucial issues relating to how gun licences were being issued in his initial inspections sent the signal that the Kotwal means business.
