Building regularisation

The Compulsory Disclosure Scheme (CDS) for regularising unauthorised constructions could see some key changes in the coming days. Two issues have been brought to the government’s notice, reducing the ‘high’ penal fees and extending the timeframe for submitting applications. Several requests are said to have been made to the highest executive to consider these issues sympathetically considering that many have to pay the property tax too! Of course, there have been queries if money will be refunded if at all there is any fee coming down but the process of collecting applications and scrutinising them will continue till fresh decisions are taken.
