VISAKHAPATNAM: Former Minister Reddy Satyanarayana who was elected to the Assembly for five consecutive times from Madugula constituency till the last elections, announced at Chodavaram on Thursday that he has resigned from the Telugu Desam party. Mr. Satyanarayana told reporters at his residence that he had quit the party upset over the seniors being ignored while nominating office-bearers of the State-level bodies of the party and encouraging inexperienced leaders. “However, I will not join the Congress under any circumstances. I will announce my decision after consulting my supporters and well wishers”, he said. Mr. Satyanarayana said he was hurt for not being informed about the recent tour of party president N. Chandrababu Naidu in Vaddadi and Gavaravaram in Madugula constituency.
