Kalam to unveil eye surgery kit

HYDERABAD: Former President A.P.J.Abdul Kalam will unveil the latest equipment installed for conducting cataract and Lasik surgeries at Maxivision Eye Laser Centre here on Friday.

The MD of Max Vision K. P. Reddy, told reporters here on Thursday that patients who undergo cataract would have minimum incision (1.8 mm), faster recovery and lesser chances of infection with the micro incision. The blade-free Lasik surgery would eliminate scope for complications .
