3 killed in accidents

Hyderabad: Three persons were killed in road accidents in the city on Thursday. Venkateswara Rao (35) and an unidentified person aged around 40 died on the spot after debris from a tipper fell on them at Gachibowli. The incident occurred when the tipper loaded with debris overturned after ramming into a car. The victims were standing on the roadside. Rao was a resident of East Anand Bagh, according to the police.
In another incident, a B.Sc student, Purnima, who received serious injuries after the motorcycle she was riding was run over by an RTC bus at Moosapet on Tuesday, succumbed to injuries at Gandhi Hospital on Thursday. Twenty-year-old Purnima was a resident of Kukatpally.
