Manchit enters quarterfinals

HYDERABAD: Seventh-seeded Manchit Madan continued his impressive run defeating K. Arjun Reddy 9-6 in the men’s singles pre-quarterfinals of the Nawab Moin-ud-Dowla State-ranking prize money tennis tournament at Secunderabad Club here on Thursday.

Inter-district beach volleyball

The Andhra Pradesh inter-district beach volleyball championships for the Chalawadhi Balkishen Memorial Trophy and Chalawadhi Shyamala Trophy for men and women respectively will be held at the Necklace Road, Hyderabad from January 25 to 27 in two sessions from 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. onwards.
