Search on for two ex-staff of businessman

Staff Reporter

BANGALORE: The police are on the lookout for two former employees of N.T. Arasu, businessman, following a suspicion that they could have murdered his wife Selvi (40) and looted gold and cash from their house on Tuesday.

Police sources told The Hindu that they had no definite clues about the killers. But as Mr. Arasu had expressed suspicion that two drivers, who had been dismissed from his company, could have committed the crime, the police were on the lookout for the drivers.

It was too early to conclude that the drivers could have murdered Selvi. Though the drivers were yet to be traced, it could not be said that they were absconding, the sources said

Deputy Commissioner of Police (West) K.V. Sharatchandra said the police were investigating the case from various angles. “At this juncture I do not rule out any possibility, including that of the two former employees having committed the crime,” he said.
