R.P. Singh injured

Special Correspondent

Adelaide: India left-arm seamer R.P. Singh’s fitness will be assessed on Saturday morning before the third day’s play.

The decision on his participation in the fourth Test will be taken subsequently. R.P. Singh had limped off the Adelaide Oval on Friday evening with what was later revealed as a hamstring strain. He was later taken for a precautionary scan. “The results of the scan will be known early on Saturday,” said Dr. M.V. Sridhar, the media manager. “We will take it from there.” R.P. Singh bowled four overs on Friday. He is one of five bowlers India has fielded in the fourth Test.
