Man thrown out of train, loses legs

Varanasi: 25-year-old Santosh Kushwaha lost his legs after he was allegedly thrown out of the Magadh Express by railway policemen at Gazipur in eastern Uttar Pradesh, police said here on Friday. Kushwaha was admitted to the Dildar Nagar health centre from where he was shifted to the district hospital and his legs had to be amputated. Kushwaha alleged that the GRP jawans demanded a bribe and pushed him out when he refused to pay. PTI
