Vinay shines
Mysore: An excellent spell by A.S. Vinay Kumar (six for 32), and unbeaten knocks from openers Dhananjaya Murari (65 not out) and T.R. Guruprasad (65 not out), helped BEML Ltd. (Mysore) register a 10-wicket win over CPC Polytechnic in a Group C league encounter in the Sri Gopalaswami Memorial tournament here on Friday.

Guruprasad 65 n.o.); Garners CC 210 in 50 overs (Ashwin 50, Ravi Gundu Rao 50) lost to National CC 242 for two in 33.5 overs (inclusive of 30 penalty runs for three overs short) (Deepak Gowda 101).
