Judgment reserved

Staff Reporter

NEW DELHI: The National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions has reserved its judgment on a petition challenging the appointment of St. Stephen’s College Principal Valson Thampu.

The Commission heard counsels for petitioner Sheetal Singh, Delhi University and the Chairman of the Governing Body of the college and concluded the hearing and later decided to reserve its judgment.

The petition alleged that the appointments of Principal Valson Thampu, Vice-Principal M. S. Frank and Bursar N. Raghunathan were illegal.
