President’s police medal for 18 CBI men
New Delhi: Eighteen personnel of the Central Bureau of Investigation have been selected for the President’s Police Medals on the occasion of Republic Day — five officials for distinguished service and 13 for meritorious service.
The awardees for distinguished service are Y.P. Singh, Joint Director (West), Mumbai; Y.C. Modi, Joint Director (EOW-3), New Delhi; Vijay Kumar, SP (SCR-3), New Delhi; P.C. Sharma, SP (SU), New Delhi; and V.K. Raghu Kumar, Additional SP(ACB), Chennai.
The medals for meritorious service will go to Alok Ranjan, DIG (SCR-2), New Delhi; Rajesh Nirwan, DIG (SCR-3), New Delhi; Satish Golchha, DIG (SCR-2), New Delhi; Nandkumar Nair, DSP (ACB), Hyderabad; R.M. Khan, DSP (ACB), Hyderabad; N. Surendran, DSP (SCB), Chennai; S. Vellaipandi, DSP (SU), Chennai; Balbir Jain, inspector (HO), New Delhi; S.C. Biswas, sub-inspector (HO), New Delhi; Mange Ram, ASI (SCR-3), New Delhi; Laxmi Narayan, head constable (SCR-2), New Delhi; Mohd. Rashid, head constable (ACU-3), New Delhi; and K.D.
