Vizag keeps trophy

VISAKHAPATNAM: Visakhapatnam retained the Konda Krishnam Raju and Konda Gandhi Raju trophy, beating East Godavari by four wickets in the last round-robin match of the ACA North Zone under-25 inter-district cricket tournament here on Friday.

Visakhapatnam won all the matches in the three-team league.

The scores:

East Godavari 88 in 36.4 overs (M. Krishna Murthy 28, N.J.S.R. Prasad three for 20) lost to Visakhapatnam 89 for six in 34.2 overs (P. Trinadh 41, M. Raja four for 13).
