Conference concludes

Bangalore: Several business schools from across five continents came together on the XIME campus to participate in a conference on management education titled “Country perspectives in a globalising world.”

The two-day conference, which among other things focused on globalisation and the various challenges it posed to management schools across the globe, concluded on Friday.

The meet stressed that education was not just about attending management schools, but a continuous learning process.The Hindu and The Hindu Business Line were the media partners for the conference, which saw 13 speakers from all over the world.

The concluding session was addressed by Prakash Apte, former Director of the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, and Julian Teicher, Director of Monash Graduate School of Business, Monash University, Australia.
