This run is for infrastructure

Staff Reporter

BANGALORE: It’s time for Bangalore to vote with its feet on the city and its infrastructure. The plight of roads and urban infrastructure has inspired the Electronic City Industries Association (ELCIA) to be up and running, and that too for a good seven km, as part of the Great ELCIA Run on Republic Day, 9 a.m. onwards.

The run, starting from the NICE Road Toll-gate, near Electronic City, is being organised to promote awareness on the need for speedy infrastructure development in the city and to ensure that Bangaloreans appreciate and adapt to the fast-changing city.

Citizens are invited to participate in the full run or in the half run of 3.5 km.

Runners can take a drop from the entrance of Phase 1 to the toll-gate.

The buses will start at 8.15 a.m.
