C.H. Prathap Reddy, Subhash Bharani, A. Mahalingappa, E. Narayanappa BANGALORE: Seventeen police officers, four Fire and Emergency Services personnel and five Home Guards and Civil Defence personnel have been conferred with medals in recognition of their services on the occasion of Republic Day. The Additional Director-General of Police (Crime and Technical Service) Subhash Bharani and Assistant Commissioner of Police (Yeshwantapur) Prathap Singh will be conferred with the President’s police medal for distinguished service. Among the police personnel who will be given police medal for meritorious service are Deputy Inspector-General of Police (Wireless) C.H. Prathap Reddy; Additional Superintendent of Police (Kolar) K. Yellappa; Deputy Commissioner of Police (VVIP Security) Bangalore V. Thimmappa; Additional Superintendent of Police (Karwar) S.P. Tawargi; Deputy Superintendent of Police (Wireless) Belgaum Chandraprakash Madgi Maharudrappa; Assistant Commandant KSRP Mysore B.C. Somanna; and Assistant Commissioner of Police (Mico Layout) Bangalore M.N. Babu Rajendra Prasad. The other police personnel who will receive medals are Circle Police Inspector B.P. Hulasagund; Special RPI KSRP. C. Narayana Swamy; Reserve Sub-Inspector of Police K.T. Kuttappa; Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police Maniyani Narayana Kurinja; Head Constables T.K. Krishna Panagar, Renuka Govindaswamy, K. Rajanna and S.G. Devappa. Fire ServicesThe four fire and emergency services personnel who have been conferred with the President’s Fire Service Medal for meritorious service are Regional Fire Officers Fazlur Rahman Shariff and F.H. Kurakundi; Fire Station Officer T.B. Madappa and Assistant Fire Station Officer C. Chikkaiah. The five Home Guards and Civil Defence personnel who have been conferred with the President’s medal for distinguished and meritorious service are in-charge Commandant R.R. Khasbag, Commandant A. Mahalingappa, Deputy Commandant E. Narayanappa, Instructors B.N. Patil and Ramesh and driver F.M. Majjagi.
