No bias, says Railways

BANGALORE: Responding to controversy over allegations of overlooking Kannadigas in the recruitment of Group ‘D’ posts, the South Western Railways, in statement, said that it had issued wide publicity calling for applications for 4,701 vacancies, and that there had been no “deviations or bias on any account.”

The press release said, “The notification was issued in various newspapers, including five Kannada newspapers, employment exchanges and Employment News.”
