CHENNAI: Literoof Housing Ltd., a part of the Literoof Group and specialising in the manufacture and sale of roofing and building materials, has opened a facility for manufacturing SHIELD range of concrete blocks and interlocking pavers in a strategic technical tie-up with MASA, AG, a German multinational. Rs. 40 cr. investmentAddressing presspersons here, M. Mohammed Ansari, Managing Director, Literoof Housing, said the facility, located at Chettipunyam village, near Chengalpattu, was opened with an initial investment of Rs. 40 crore. The fully automated plant with the state-of-the-art machinery, would house the biggest manufacturing plant for concrete blocks and pavers. The plant had a capacity to manufacture 28,800 blocks and 72,000 pavers a day, he said.
