HYDERABAD: Yesodhara Menon, Chief Postmaster-General, AP circle, after unfurling the flag at Dak Sadan urged the employees to cultivate a positive attitude. Hoisting the tricolour at the Railway Sports Complex Grounds, H.K. Padhee, General Manager, South Central Railway, highlighted the year’s achievements of the organisation. He said two trains — Secunderabad-Yeshwanthpur Garib Rath Express and Aurangabad-Dadar Janshatabdi Express, were on the anvil. At the R-Day function, Anand Mohan, Executive Director, Power Grid Corporation of India, asked employees to rededicate themselves and work collectively for the country’s economic development. Ravi Kota, General Manager, Food Corporation of India, hoisted the flag at the regional office. He gave away awards to meritorious employees. The staff of the Electronics Corporation of India Ltd. (ECIL) celebrated the R-Day with K.S. Rajasekhara Rao, CMD, advising staff to fulfil their social commitment, leveraging technology for the benefit of the masses. P. Rama Rao, former Secretary, Science and Technology and Madhu Reddy, CEO of US Electronics Inc, attended. S.K. Goyal, ED, R & D, Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd., unfurled the tricolour and addressed participants at an impressive march past by security and fire services departments. He advised the staff to keep track of the global trends in technology and adopt them to meet the customers’ needs. K. Ramakrishnan, CMD, Andhra Bank, counselled employees to rededicate themselves for improving the lot of the poor. He inaugurated ‘Pattabhi Bhavanalaya’, an auditorium at the head office. R.K. Sharma, CGM, State Bank of India, Local Head Office, hoisted the flag in presence of the staff. M. Narayana Reddy, chairman, AP Administrative Tribunal, and members celebrated the R-Day at a simple function.
