Bal Shree awards for three city students

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Three students of the Kerala State Jawahar Balabhavan have been selected for the National Bal Shree Awards for 2007.

Arya Krishnan of the GHSS, Pattom, has been selected in the Creative Performance category and Minnu A.S., a Class X student of Carmel Girls High School, Vazhuthacaud, in the Creative Writing section. Madhav Sankar R. Warrier, a Class VIII student of Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Kunnnumpuram, has been selected for excellence in the Creative Arts category.

A release from the Jawahar Balabhavan said the awardees had attended the National Bal Shree camp held at National Bal Bhavan, New Delhi, from December 4 to 8 last year.
