Thayagaraja Aradhana Utsav concludes

BERHAMPUR: The three-day Thayagaraja Aradhana Utsav organised at the Rotary East Community Hall by the Sri Thyagaraja Bhakta Samity of the city concluded on Sunday.

It was a three-day festival of classical music, devotional kirtan and worship of the great poet saint of bhakti era. The concluding session of this festival included vocal recital by Devi Sujata of Vizag. She was accompnaied by K.Ramchandran on violin and P.Tirupati Rao on mridangam.

Violin expert J.Maheswar Rao performed a jugalbandi with B.V.Ramana on mridangam.

On Sunday the devotees of Thyagaraja of the city along with musical experts performed pancharatna kirtan composed by Thyagaraja.
