Belgaum: Kumar Pramod Mallikarjun Mallur, studying in third standard at St. Paul’s High School and also a student of Aloha Learning Centre here, has secured the first place in the “National-level competition in tiny tots Level-4 of Aloha Abacus & Mental Arithmetic” in Chennai on December 29.

More than 2,500 participants from all over the country participated in the event.

Aloha is an organisation that promotes Indian arithmetic at the international level.

He has been selected to participate in the Aloha international competition in Malaysia in September 2008. He is a second son of M.D. Mallur, secretary,Malaprabha Sahakara Sakkare Karkhane Limited, in M. K. Hubli. The principal and teachers of St. Paul’s and Aloha Learning Centre have congratulated him.
