Krishna pats Padma awardees

BANGALORE: Maharashtra Governor S.M. Krishna has congratulated the Padma awardees from Karnataka.

A release from Raj Bhavan, Mumbai, said Mr. Krishna spoke to N.R. Narayana Murthy of Infosys Technologies on telephone and congratulated him on being selected for the Padma Vibhushan.

The Maharashtra Governor also spoke to K.S. Nisar Ahmed and V.R. Gowrishankar, chosen for the Padma Shri, and conveyed his appreciation for their distinguished services in their respective fields. — Staff Reporter
