Meet to create awareness on GOs

The Singh Nagar unit of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) on Sunday conducted a meeting to create awareness among people with regard to G.O. Nos. 901 and 902.

Party floor leader in the Vijayawada Municipal Corporation Ch. Babu Rao criticised the State Government for levying additional burden on the poor and the middleclass in the name of building regularisation charges.

Mr. Babhu Rao said that though the regularisation was a welcome initiative, the amount of fine being levied from the residents was quite high.
