CUDDALORE: In a freak accident, a car fell down from the Anna bridge here on Sunday night, injuring the three occupants of the vehicle. Police said the car was giving way for a speeding vehicle when it rammed into the parapet of the bridge and rolled down. Babu (28), Sundarmurthy (39) and Thirumavalavan (32), all residents of Cuddalore, were injured and admitted to government hospitals. The car suffered extensive damage. The police have booked a case. — Special Correspondent
